Editorial standards
SA Philanthropy publishes fundraising guidance for nonprofit teams. This page explains how that content is researched, sourced, reviewed, and corrected, and who writes it.
Statistics, studies, and benchmark figures carry an inline link to the primary source. A build-time check blocks publication when a post contains an uncited number. Where an exact figure cannot be verified, we describe the direction of the evidence instead of inventing precision.
Posts are written by members of the SA Philanthropy team who do the work: fundraising strategy, paid acquisition, creative, donor operations, and project delivery. Each post names its author, their role, and the date it was published.
Drafts are reviewed by the SA Philanthropy editorial team for accuracy, tone, and whether the recommendation holds up in a real development shop. Reviewers check that sector claims match what we see in client work.
When guidance changes or a figure is superseded, we update the post and record a modified date rather than quietly rewriting history. Spot an error? Email info@sarahaliphilanthropy.com and we will correct it.
We do not invent testimonials, case study numbers, credentials, ratings, or guarantees. Client outcomes published on this site come from reported campaign data. Client names are anonymized unless the organization has approved attribution.
We do not accept payment for editorial coverage, links, or product mentions. Tools named in a post are named because we use them or because they are the standard in the category.
Posts cover fundraising strategy, not legal, tax, or accounting advice. Verify jurisdiction-specific requirements, including CRA and Charity Commission obligations, with a qualified professional.
Every post names its author. Each bio below is the source of truth referenced in the structured data on our articles.
